McNee Inks Temporary Contract with Falmouth of Cape Cod League
Worcester, MA --- WPI junior outfielder Scott McNee has signed a temporary contract with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Code Baseball League. McNee was one of 75 players to try out in Wareham on May 31st for the historic summer league, which showcases some of the best collegiate and amateur baseball talent in the country.

McNee Selected to the All-New England Baseball Team
Medford, MA --- WPI junior outfielder Scott McNee has been named to the second team of this year's New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association Division III Baseball team. The award caps an outstanding seaon for McNee, who two weeks ago was the first Engineer to be honored as the NEWMAC Player of the Year in the 10-year history of the conference.

Guddy Hagopian, Ryan Rainone and Jameson Kokolis Earn Academic All-NEWMAC Baseball Honors
Babson Park, MA --- The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its 2008 Baseball Academic All-Conference Team on Wednesday. The WPI baseball team had three representatives this year, tied with MIT for second most in the league. Seniors Guddy Hagopian and Ryan Rainone were selected along with sophomore Jameson Kokolis.

McNee Honored as NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Year
Babson Park, MA --- WPI junior outfielder Scott McNee has been tabbed as this year's NEWMAC Player of the Year while classmate Conor Fahey was named to the all-conference second team in voting by conference baseball coaches. For WPI, it marks the first time in the 10-year history of the conference that an Engineer player has been honored as Player of the Year.
